FAQ
In Search Of (ISO) seeks to map the global design industry by curating a directory of the best design organizations and resources from around the world. On this site, you will find a wide selection of resources from various design disciplines, including examples of the designers’ work, our commentary on the unique features of the work, and, most importantly, a link to each designers’ website so you can explore their work more or reach out to them. We hope ISO provides not only inspiration for designers, but also helps elevate designers who are doing incredible work in their field.
What is the purpose of ISO?
Our goal is to showcase the best design organizations and their work in one directory to highlight how they shine in their disciplines. We hope ISO will be used by fellow designers to learn about the field and how expansive it can be.
Couldn’t I just visit the designer’s site instead?
We hope you will visit the designers’ sites! ISO only provides a snippet of each designer’s work to illustrate our commentary on their work and give you an idea of their style, but each page and photo links directly to the designer’s own site so you can explore further and contact them directly. ISO is intended to be an organized directory of designers from around the world, not a replacement for any designer’s own website. All of the designs featured on ISO are also available on the designers’ own websites.
What if I want to purchase work I’ve found on ISO?
ISO is for informational and educational purposes only; we do not sell any of the work on this site. If you want to purchase a design or font or work with a specific designer, please reach out directly to the designer. Each designer’s website is linked to all of their designs on ISO and also on the designer’s main ISO page.
What if I want to suggest a designer or a design not on ISO?
We welcome all suggestions and feedback to ISO. We are always looking for new designers and designs that are doing incredible work. We likely won’t post every design by a designer, as we only want to give an illustrative taste of their work to entice people to explore them further on their own website.
What if I’m a designer listed in ISO and I don’t to be listed?
